Magnificent visual event! And great photographic weather: stormy sky and sun shining through the clouds. All that made a great possibility to create nice photographic reportage. For me as a photographer a big problem was the placing of the stage. It was placed across the river Wisla. It forced me to use the telephoto lens, while my favorite is still the 16mm on full frame.

Wyclef Jean – musician, songwriter, singer, composer and a nominee for the prestigious Grammy Award – will be the star of this year’s Wianki in Krakow. On the 25th of June the artist will perform on the scene within the bend of the River Vistula near Wawel. Support bands include: SOFA, The Poise Rite, Pablopavo and Marika.
